All prospective students who have
not attained an undergraduate grade point average
of 3.0 (or B) must take the Graduate Record Examination
(GRE), and have the results sent to the Admissions
Office. If your University does not use the 4.0
scale, please send a request to the [ Admissions
Office ] to provide a grade-point conversion to determine
whether a GRE score is required or not. Unless GRE scores
are submitted, the application cannot be included in
the Department's review. GRE information is available
through the admissions office at most colleges and universities.
GRE requirements have changed for applicants with graduate
credit. For updated guidelines, please check the step-by-step
guide to admissions on the [Graduate
Admissions] website.
