Students accepted to any of the
Design majors
should take the below courses prior to enrolling in
Design 251, the first course in each program:
-Design 200
-Mathematics 116 or equivalent (one course required)
-English 110
-Minimum University cumulative grade point average of 2.0
-Successful completion of departmental entrance examination
General prerequisites for entry to Design courses numbered
Design 460 are:
-Design 201, 202, 203
-Design 262
-Design 253
-Design 258 (Visual Communication majors only)
-Statistics 135 or 145
-Minimum University cumulative grade point average of 2.0
*Note: Courses noted concurrent in the OSU Bulletin must
be taken when indicated. Failure to do so will result in
refusal of right to continue in major
studio courses.
