The IDEA Studio is excited to be engaged in this Fall 2014 design research course taught by Elizabeth B.-N. Sanders, PhD from the OSU Department of Design. 50 design students in their junior year will have the opportunity to participate in a real world learning experience in the local community by applying the methods and tools of participatory design. Exploring the future of healthy eating, several of the projects will connect with ongoing initiatives at the OSU Wexner Medical Center.

Many thanks to our colleagues who enthusiastically supported this interdisciplinary project. We look forward to seeing creative examples of how design research can be applied to generate solutions that benefit patients and create healthier communities!
