Professor R. Brian Stone delivered the keynote address at the XXXII commencement of the Universidad Americana (UAM), Managua, Nicaragua. The occasion marked the first cohort of graduates from the newly established Department of Design and Visual Communication (Diseño y Comunicación Visual). Dean Maria Fabiola Espinosa, who received her MFA in Design from The Ohio State University, hooded the graduates.

 

Professor Stone was in Nicaragua conducting a 2-week master’s seminar entitled, “Digital Strategies” at the university in July 2014.
