Third-Year Interior Design Student Ryan Wells Named Fergus Scholar

Ryan Wells

Congratulations to Third-Year Interior Design Student Ryan Wells on being named one of 10 Fergus Scholars for 2014.

His work PINECONE - DISASSEMBLED, REASSEMBLED, FOUND MATERIAL, 2014, 3"x3"x3" has been selected for inclusion in the 23rd Annual Fergus Scholarship Award Exhibition January 6-29, 2015 at The Ohio State University's Urban Art Space at 50 W. Town Street. The Reception will be held January 24, 2015 from 5-7PM.

The Annual Fergus Scholarship Award Exhibition is a juried competition open to all studio-based visual art and design majors. Recipients are chosen by a jury of faculty from the departments of Art; Design; Arts Administration, Education and Policy; and History of Art.

The John Fergus Family Fund was established with gifts from John C. and Elizabeth O. Fergus, and Robert H. Fergus in honor of their mother, Edith Fergus-Gilmore. It is the strong belief of the family, and the overriding philosophy of these awards, that it is important to give back to one's community.
