Jeffrey Haase, an Associate Professor of Design at The Ohio State University, specializes in spatial representation in Interior Design, Art, and Architecture. His academic focus centers on reimagining the physical construction of materials and memory to shape unique experiences and spaces. Exploring alternatives, he challenges concepts of real versus representation, scale, spatial perception, location mapping, and emotional content within interior environments. His research outcomes extend to installations, exhibits, international workshops, and conference presentations worldwide. Beyond academia, Haase is recognized as an architect renowned for his inventive restaurant interiors. As a lead designer and project coordinator at Design Collective Inc., he has contributed to the creation of award-winning and featured designs in professional publications and books.
