Amanda Buck, VCD 2008, was recently featured on AIGA's Design Envy web site, which showcases projects selected by members of the design community. Specifically, her cookbook design for Pie Lab was posted by AIGA member Ethan Bodnar.

About this project -- Founded in 2009 by a team of Project M designers, Pie Lab is a restaurant and design-for-good project incubator in rural Greensboro, Alabama. Pie Lab started out as a design studio, pop-up cafe, and community gathering place, and is now a thriving part of Greensboro’s creative and social community, fueled by pie.

Since graduating from the Visual Communication Design undergraduate degree program, Amanda has been involved in a variety of projects mean to positively contribute to the public good. Clients have included IDEO, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, GOOD, ProAV, Brute Labs, Historic Downtown Northport, Social Interactive, Mockingbird Farm, and Column Five Media.
