Description: The Department of Design is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking interior design educator to join our faculty. With undergraduate programs in Interior Design, Industrial Design, and Visual Communication Design, the department is a collaborative interdisciplinary learning environment with a strong design research emphasis woven throughout the undergraduate and graduate curricula. We seek an experienced educator with expertise in one of the following areas: technology-based spatial representation (3D modeling and animation), sustainable design practices specific to interior materials, or a specialization in design strategies that support health and wellness or the design of experiential or interactive interior environments.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design required. Terminal degree (MFA) in design or a closely related design-based discipline required. NCIDQ certification or equivalent and university-level teaching experience is preferred. PhD is encouraged.
