Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Ohio State Visual Communication Design Students Recognized at CSCA Creative Best 2024

The Columbus Society of Communicating Arts (CSCA) hosted its annual Creative Best 2024 event, titled Unbound, on December 5 at The Century in Merion Village. Creative Best is the annual awards competition held by the CSCA. Each year, the organization gathers to recognize the outstanding works submitted by professionals and students alike in Central Ohio.
 
This year, three Ohio State Visual Communication Design students were recognized for their work:
 
• Emily Holt, “Safe & Sound Brand Book,” Best of Category, Student Identity.
• Bryce Patterson, “Forest Service Visual Identity,” Award of Merit, Student Identity.
• Sam Rankin, “Conversations with Trees: The Buckeye Bullet,” Award of Merit, Print.
