Congratulations to graduating industrial design student Olivia Wilmink for winning the 2018 IDSA Central District Student Merit Award.

Each year, IDSA recognizes exceptional student design talent through their Student Merit Awards program. The competition highlights the very best creativity, problem solving and design brilliance across each of IDSA’s five Design Districts. Two IDSA student member winners are selected from each district for this prestigious distinction. One at the Graduate level and one at the Undergraduate level. District winners are further recognized through a profile in INNOVATION magazine and are invited to the annual International Design Conference Awards Ceremony for a formal trophy presentation in front of hundreds of design professionals from across the world. SMA winners often find themselves with job offers and elevated potential for advancing their professional design careers.
