Oi Marimbi is the first video-game for children depicting and taking place at the Colombian Pacific region. In the game, an 8-year-old boy called Marimbi is the protagonist of this adventure, in which he explores the Saija river looking for the marimba master (the marimba is a traditional Afro-Colombian musical instrument). In his journey, Marimbi learns to play various instruments used in Afro-Colombian music. Alberto Vega Rivera, MFA Candidate at Ohio State's Department of Design, worked on the development of this game, in collaboration with La Valiente Estudio, Intuitiva S.A.S., the University of Cauca, and Crea Digital in Colombia.
