Last week, Columbus-based designer and illustrator Jeremy Slagle of Slagle Design visited our Visual Communication Design studios for a guest presentation and demonstration on his brand identity design process.

Jeremy walked students through how he approaches a branding project from early concepts and sketching to developing a visual identity, sharing examples from his professional practice as well as the Adobe tools that support his process. His work spans brand identity, packaging, illustration, and design for a wide range of local and national clients.

Students also got a preview of some of the techniques Jeremy will be sharing at Adobe MAX 2026 in Miami this year where he will lead a hands-on workshop on his packaging design workflow.
