Kelly Eyink (BSD 2011 – Interior Design), Senior Interior Designer at M+A Architects, was just featured in Architectural Record, sharing her expert opinion on the versatility of terrazzo.

"Riding the sustainability wave and the opportunity to make what’s old new again, terrazzo is making a return. 

“This eco-minded material falls in line with ‘scrap culture’ and trends in recent years, which are heavily influenced by regenerative reuse, handcrafting, and meaningful imperfections,” states Kelly.
 
“Highly customized in color, scale and substrate, terrazzo also lends itself to a variety of color palettes. For example, there are a lot of visuals the material can take on, with colors ranging from calming and organic to a playful rainbow effect.”
