MFA Graduate Student Spotlight: James Paskett
Welcome to the Department of Design’s graduate student feature highlighting the work and accomplishments of our MFA students!
This week features James Paskett. He is a third year MFA candidate in Design Research and Development. James specializes in procedural parametric modeling and generative design research. His current thesis focuses on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into design practice, and transdisciplinary collaborative research into real-time, high-fidelity physics simulation and data-driven forensic facial reconstruction. He is passionate about using design practices to address issues of creative expression, while finding solutions for forward and inverse problems.
