CSCA’s annual Creative Best awards event took place on 16 November at Vue Columbus in the Brewery District. Creative Best is the annual awards competition held by the Columbus Society of Communicating Arts. Each year, our organization gathers to recognize the outstanding works submitted by professionals and students alike in Central Ohio.

Current student winners included:

• Kayla Eastman (BSD 2024-VCD), "Cazuela's Hypothetical Rebrand," Award of Merit, Student Brand Identity category.
• Bekka Rannali (BSD 2024-VCD), "Sustainable Apparel Coalition Brand Identity," Award of Merit, Student Brand Identity category.

Alumni winners included:

• Anne Knellinger (BSD 2022-VCD), design and illustration, Nonfiction, "Aardvark Wine & Beer," Judge's Choice and Award of Merit, Brand Identity category.
• Andrew Bromwell (BSD 2012-VCD), experience design, ZoCo, "ZoCo: Ten Years of Human Centered Design," Award of Excellence, Campaign category.
• Andrew Bromwell (BSD 2012-VCD), experience design, ZoCo, "Provide Website," Best of Interactive category.
• Derek Higaki (BSD 2009-VCD), creative direction, Civitas, "Upwest Boulder Store," Award of Excellence, Environmental category.
