Prerequisite: Admission to Bachelor of Science in Design - Visual Communication Design program; or permission of instructor.

Overview
This course provides a platform to develop a comprehensive thesis proposal. Students must demonstrate skills developed through the major such as problem discovery, design research, and the authoring of project briefs and proposals. The consideration of a targeted audience is of relevance as well as the formulation of clear design objectives.
Objectives
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Identify design opportunities that will lead to the development of a rich and comprehensive thesis outcome
- Complete activities such as problem identification, concept formulation, and scope definition
