PARTICIPATORY WORKSHOP: IS OSU A HAPPY CAMPUS?

The Ohio State Department of Design is hosting a free participatory design experience for the Ohio State and Columbus community to explore ideas that can be used to make Ohio State a happier campus for everyone.

If you are interested in the happiness and well-being of the Ohio State community and want to be involved in collectively imagining its future, please join us in this exploration. The workshop takes place Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. This participatory, hands-on experience is limited to 50 people so if you are interested you will need to sign up right away.

As a research scientist in social epidemiology and Co-leader of the Well-Being Index Project at Harvard University, Dr. Trudel-Fitzgerald investigates psychological, social, and behavioral determinants of age-related diseases and longevity. Her work seeks to unravel both positive and negative factors that impact physical health.
Attendance at the public keynote is open to all.
The Reinhart Butter Annual Design Affair Fund is used to support a workshop, round-table, debate, or lecture by renowned experts within the professional disciplines associated with The Ohio State University Department of Design; the purpose of the event is the advancement of both theory and practice, preferably by engaging the audience in some form of participatory activities.
