MFA graduate Rhys Grubel presented a journey of a graphic designer who challenges recycling-based individualism
MFA (Design Research and Development) alumni Rhys Grubel presented to the third-year Visual Communication students earlier this term. He shared his experiences as both a graphic designer and an environmental activist. Rhys spoke about his efforts to navigate the landscape of sustainability programs at the Ohio State University, and searches for opportunities to conduct UX research to support the development of circular-economy initiatives at the university.
Rhys also discussed his thesis project, which aims to raise awareness of the shortcomings of municipal recycling.
