MODE, Motion Design Education Summit, will allow participants to explore emerging concepts and strategies for motion design education.

The event will take place on 26 and 27 April 2013, and will be hosted by University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana. MODE has been organized by Ohio State Design alums and faculty.

Andre Murnieks, an alum of both the Ohio State Design bachelor and master programs, and an Assistant Professor at University of Notre Dame, is the organizing committee chairperson.

Gretchen Caldwell Rinnert, an alum of the Ohio State Design bachelor program, and an Assistant Professor at Kent State University, is a member of the organizing committee.

R. Brian Stone, an alum of the Ohio State Design master program, and Associate Professor of Design at Ohio State, is also a member of the organizing committee.

Topics to be discussed include Curriculum, Teaching Strategies, Assessment, Challenges, Technology Integration, Principles of Motion, Online Learning, Critique Methods, and others related to motion design.
