Professor Oscar Fernández presents “Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks”
Professor Oscar Fernández presented his book project “Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks” to the fourth-year Visual Communication Design cohort and students of the Information Design for Non-majors class. This interdisciplinary book project is prepared for the nomination to the UNESCO World Heritage List by the United States of America. The 300-page book includes extensive scientific archaeological information about Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks in Ohio. The rich visual components and the thoughtful organizational structure of the book design showcase a great example of how knowledge of science and humanity can be better communicated through graphical means.
