Pathways to Lumen Station
Lumen Station is a career development and skill-building hub in Franklinton, born from research on the area’s shortage of skilled trades workers and inspired by efforts like Halt Violence, which demonstrate how access to resources can transform lives. By providing opportunities for hands-on training and entrepreneurial support, Lumen Station empowers young adults, career changers, and entrepreneurs to build brighter futures. The space features a vibrant café that supports culinary entrepreneurs, a Skills Development Core focused on carpentry and landscaping training, a Fabrication/Maker Space, consultancy rooms, and a classroom—each designed to enhance learning, creativity, and collaboration. With rounded corridors symbolizing growth and thoughtfully curated areas for reflection and connection, Lumen Station becomes more than a training center—it becomes a space where individuals, especially those in need of rehabilitation and a fresh start, can gain new skills, rediscover their potential, and take meaningful steps toward their goals.
