In society, many major problems could be fixed today if people had a little more empathy. For a long time many

of those in power have gotten to the top by dishonesty, selfishness, and a general lack of care for others. This is why

I created Amity! The goal was to teach young, impressionable kids essential life skills through an interactive animation-based game in the classroom setting. This game focuses on very broad and complex topics, all with an overarching theme of empathy. For example, how to see things from another person’s perspective, or why you should express your emotions, etc.

Emma Peters is a 2023 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Design degree in Visual Communication Design and minors in Inequality & Society and Film Studies. She is a passionate designer who is
always down to learn a new skill. She found her niche in animation/motion design and hopes to one day be a 3D character animator in the feature film industry while pursuing freelance design on the side.
