Begin is a system for those who are trying to quit smoking. It reveals behavior patterns by collecting biometric data via wearable technology. It provides users with structure, information, feedback and alternatives for tobacco use. The data collected can be shared with medical professionals and insurance providers for rewards and benefits.

Begin uses wearables to detect variations in heart rate, perspiration, body temperature and movement. Based on collected data, Begin will recognize places, times of day and other influences that typically trigger cravings. When you find yourself in situations that cause cravings, Begin displays alternative options for smoking.

There are four interventions that have been clinically proven to reduce stress. Yoga, breath focus, binaural brainwaves sessions and meditation are all valued practices of the mindfulness science. Within each of these functions, Begin provides several guided programs designed specifically to target the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal during smoking cessation.
