B.Well: A wearable medication and supplement dosing system to help manage emotions.

College students often struggle with stress, lack of focus, and emotional fluctuations due to academic, professional, and personal pressures. And yet, the same students can identify when and how they would like their mood to change. Addressing this issue, our project introduces B.Well, an innovative wearable injection system designed to help users take control of their emotional well-being. Developed through a collaboration between Ohio State Design and Battelle, B.Well utilizes advanced mood detection technology to monitor real-time emotional states. B.Well provides proactive and reactive solutions by delivering precise, customizable doses of medication based on user-defined moods. Key features include real-time tracking, personalized dosage recommendations, and data analytics displayed through a user-friendly app interface. The device also supports alternative non-medicated options and alerts users when metrics fall out of range. With its sleek, discreet design, B.Well seamlessly integrates into daily life, offering a groundbreaking approach to enhancing emotional stability and productivity. I independently developed the design research, conceptualization, and prototyping for B.Well, a wearable medication and supplement dosing system aimed at improving emotional well-being. My contributions included user research, iterative prototyping, and system mapping under the guidance of my faculty advisor and in collaboration with Battelle. I will be presenting the design development, functionality, and potential impact of this innovation.
