Through research I found that the current sex education experience lacks ease, comfortability, and unbiased constraints to knowledge. I found the best solution to this problem was to use the existing familiarity and outreach accessibility that Tiktok and other social media platforms have, to design a new normalized experience around sex education that is inclusive, reliable, and fun!

besexE works to change negative connotations related to sex education, by turning to the existing location of information consumption and making it a place for reliable Education and Learning: social media. Providing reliable and accurate sex ed through places like Tiktok and Spotify, besexE bridges the gap of curiosity and desire for information, while retaining ease and privacy while doing it. Using real voices of everyday people - from professionals to college friends - topics ranging from relationships to masturbation are discussed in an educational manner that improves the health of those engaging with besexE. This campaign is designed to be trendy to encourage viewers to share this knowledge with their peers and partners.

The existing journey has major pain points, ultimately being an uncomfortable, unhealthy experience due to the lack of easily accessible, reliable, and entertaining information. besexE turns this journey into a fun, educational experience that vastly and easily hits the mark for the target audience.

besexE is brought to life through an animated educational Tiktok, brand identity guidelines, a podcast promotion, and apparel designs.

Based off research finding that people have a desire to learn this information, but primarily in private, providing an educational Tiktok is a way for users to comfortably become educated.

Identity guidelines were created to maintain cohesiveness throughout the campaign, as it intends to expand for further outreach.

The design of the podcast and promotional video are an example of how this large topic can be broken down and discussed in different forms for more specific audiences.

Apparel and additional applications such as stickers and phone case designs were made to be trendy; to be a campaign people want to be a part of, wearing and sharing to spread the message and normalize these conversations.
