Currently, sex education is inaccurate, non-inclusive, and shameful. The app, birds & bees, was created to tackle this problem. The app is set up so that users can enter in any question they have about sex education or growing up and in turn get easy-to-understand answers in a comfortable and simple format. The app uses a functionality similar to that of an Instagram story, where users can tap through quick answers to their question and then swipe up on any answer to learn more and dive deeper. birds & bees allows users to customize their app settings to ensure answers are perfectly tailored for them.

Joel Daniel is a graphic designer from Ohio. He loves working on user interface and user experience. Alongside this he also enjoys animation and motion design. Joel is looking forward to utilizing the skills he learned in his four years at Ohio State to make a difference in the world of design.
