Boost

Visual Communication Design, 2019
The self-help book genre takes a text heavy intense reading approach to their books. If you struggle with productivity, you would probably struggle reading this type of book. I do not think learning about productivity has to be this way so I designed a book for younger readers in a light reading format that breaks down big ideas in an enjoyable way.
Introducing Boost, a practical and amusing handbook on getting things done. This is not a book about getting motivated. Lasting motivation only comes from within and external motivation is fleeting. Instead, the book is about eliminating our excuses, finding a niche, practicing and building habits. Each of these is a cornerstone of productivity and once you have these in place being productive becomes routine.
Christopher Heaney graduated in 2019 from OSU’s Department of Design, with a degree in Visual Communication Design. He is interested branding, packaging design and typography he plans to continue to pursue these interests in his professional career.
