The library offers a wide variety of programming, including literacy initiatives, arts workshops, technology training, and cultural events, all intended to bridge generational gaps and nurture a sense of belonging.
The design of Novel Neighbors is rooted in Franklinton's rich history and dynamic community. The library’s physical layout includes flexible learning spaces, quiet study areas, and rooms dedicated to hands-on activities, like board games and a computer lab. Emphasizing sustainability and inclusion, the library integrates eco-friendly building practices and a collection of materials that reflect the diversity of the neighborhood.
