Collaborative Event Planning

Collaborative Event Planning

Megan Kelly

Interior Design, 2015

Currently, the event planning industry lacks physical spaces to work as well as meet with clientele to give a hands-on experience. The industry also lacks a way of networking, expanding knowledge, gaining insight on materials and resources available.

Collaborative Event Planning is a community event planning space, which simplifies lives by sharing resources and maximizing impact upon the satisfaction of planned events. Professionals and amateurs from a wide range of planning backgrounds will come together to communicate, work, and play in harmony. The design promotes sense of place and community by providing many opportunities to interact with other event planners from within and outside the Columbus community.

Collaborative Event Planning features a large collaborative workspace, showroom, retail store, break room, conference room, executive offices and lounge, employee workspaces, storage, and a reception area.
