Abstract:
Darwin Muljono is a graduate student at the Design Department at OSU. His main research explores human-centered design and emergent systems, but he’s also interested in co-design, technology, and speculative design. He has about 10 years of experience in the design industry. Some of the clients he had worked with included Museum of Design Atlanta, Tempur-Pedic, The Home Depot, and Speck. Recently, he worked on various design research from Future Aging to Type 1 Diabetes.
David McKenzie is a Graduate Instructor at the Design Department at OSU. He is interested in investigating Prototyping with Co-designers to Imagine Future Experiences, as part of his Master’s thesis. He studied Product Design at the University of Edinburgh. He spent several years working in South Korea as an educator while continuing his practice as a designer/maker before returning to academia to explore and contribute to the field of Design Research in the US.
