The city of Franklinton is in the midst of a state of change. New businesses, residential buildings and development are moving into the area and bringing a lot of people with it. The local, native residents of Franklinton have historically lacked opportunity dedicated to enabling them to help themselves. With emerging growth in the area, Constellation Kitchen & Market seeks to be a resource for locals who need a leg up in launching a business in the culinary industry. Constellation is a combination of a culinary incubator and food hall. The incubator is dedicated to providing commercial cooking space, resources, mentorships and collaborative partnerships. The food hall element allows those members to sell their goods while creating a public environment aimed at fostering a strong sense of community, purpose and enjoyment.

Lauren Voiers is a graduating Interior Design senior from the Ohio State University Class of 2019. She has a background rooted in art which is a driving component in her passion and commitment to the Interior Design profession. Her main professional interests are in hospitality, workplace and civic design. In addition to an accepted full time position as an Interior Designer at Triad Architects, Lauren plans to pursue further education in visualizing architectural rendering and involvement in public art-making.
