The rise of the middle class in any capitalistic society means a number of things: a large one being the dawn of rampant consumerism. Our consumption habits, however, can often have dangerous consequences. Abusive labor practices, climate change, problematic corporate agendas influencing society, and more. One of the potential solutions to this growing problem is encouraging more ethical consumption habits.

ConsuME: At a Higher Level tackles this issue in the form of an immersive, pop-up exhibition space that leverages visual and Augmented Reality experiences and environments to inform, inspire, and empower consumers to make more ethical decisions. The installation is designed to be placed in a busy shopping hubs where it can educate consumers as they go about their shopping.
