Contempo is a tool that incorporates the various aspects that go into the dance composition process. It allows dancers to reflect and be more creative by providing feedback from other dancers and creating a network to document dance.
First, the choreography is recorded with the iPad. Then it is shared with an online community where they can provide feedback. After the dancer receives feedback, she can sync the feedback to her floor. The next time she works on the choreography, she is motivated by visual representations of the feedback on the floor.
Jessica McManus is an eager designer from Columbus, Ohio. She believes that it's not just about creating aesthetically pleasing visuals, but understanding the ultimate user experience. Through research, and cocollaboration, she loves finding reasoning behind her design decisions. She really enjoys solving problems within the UX and UI space, but she has a blast solving any problem that is thrown her way.
Jessica also loves eating, running and cats.
