Interior Design, 2014
For my senior thesis, I stressed the importance of eating healthy fresh food, all while supporting local venders and farmers located in Mt. Vernon, Ohio that work hard to get fresh produce.
It is so easy for us today to run through the fast food line in order to get home and watch that sitcom we recorded on the DVR. We have forgotten how to cook wholesome meals and sense we are so dependent on technology that we hate the thought of conversation or quality time with our family and friends.
My project incorporates healthy eating with activities like cooking classes along with a restaurant and multiple local venders and farmers for people to browse year round with seasonal products available.
I designed this for the grand parents who want to bring their grandchildren for quality time in the summer, I designed this for the family with children that need bonding time together. I designed this around the couple that comes here for their first date. And most importantly, I designed this around the individual that wants to learn how to eat healthier.
