Design Feedback: The Now Portable Critique
Keyah Madaris
Visual Communication Design, 2024
Design Feedback a digital and physical toolkit that will serve as a guided critique experience to educate Visual Communication Design students on how to appropriately construct thoughtful descriptions and interpretations of their work, enabling critics to judge and visualize feedback within an open-guest design critique accurately for future student reference.
Design Feedback is a system that aims to enhance the efficiency of critiques within the Visual Communication Design program by establishing a critique structure. This system provides students with the knowledge of three guiding principles that will help them give constructive feedback during critiques. By doing so, students are encouraged to actively participate in group activities with the confidence and comfort to share their thoughts. At the end of the program, students will have the ability to retain and distill feedback for future reference, which will help them throughout their design journey.
