Elepho is a new system which provides a more efficient mode of communication between childcare
providers and parents while reducing the daycare provider’s workload. In most American families with small children, all adults work outside of the home and daycare is usually a necessary option.
Most daycare facilities still employ time consuming paper reports and emails to communication with parents. There is a lapse in time before parents can receive information from the daycare providers about their child. parents experience anxiety due to separation from their children. Daycare providers are beleaguered and overworked, and spend too much time filling out the report rather than attending to the children. Paper reports are hard to keep on file and easily misplaced.

Bingyu Li (Sophia) is a designer with backgrounds of Industrial Design and New Media & Technology
Communication. She is specialized in human-centered design approach. Her education in the OSU helps her build solid understandings of design research, product design techniques and new media technologies.For her career, she has passions on multiple disciplines including product design, user experience design and design research.
