Contemporary art is a widely misunderstood art genre in which the general population does not know how to engage with it. Additionally, art education is not always prioritized in schools and resources like art museums are not always accessible.

Evoke is an accessible and interactive pop-up experience to educate people about how to interpret and engage with contemporary art on a deeper level. The experience, geared towards those high-school aged and older, encourages visitors to see art in a new way. Our See Do Evoke model inspires self reflection and conversation with others and uses research from art education professionals. What will you evoke?

Anne Knellinger (she/her) is a recent Visual Communication Design graduate with minors in History of Art and Studio Art. She is passionate about branding and motion design and hopes to pursue a career that allows her to work in an interdisciplinary environment. She is interested in the ways in which relationships can help shape design and believes in being a lifelong learner. When not designing, you can find her playing ultimate frisbee, going for a hike, or or playing board games with friends and family.
