FLO: The Fluid Intake Kit

FLO: The Fluid Intake Kit

A significant portion of competitive soccer players are significantly dehydrated prior to exercising. The resulting side effects are a lack of production and greater fatigue in the crucial, final minutes of a match. FLO is a two part warm up kit, which provides a solution to this issue by monitoring and notifying the player when they haven’t had the proper amount of fluids. The FLO bundle consists of a single scrimmage vest that works in tandem with a water bottle. That connection is fostered through wireless, bluetooth technology. When a player uses a bottle, it signals to their vest that drinking is occurring. The vest tracks this progression until the expected fluid intake level, 8 oz, is reached. FLO allows for not only the player, but those around them, to ensure that they are in peak condition when it matters most.
