Many inks used for printmaking contain harmful chemicals. Not only for us, but for the environment. Foliage has designed a system to reduce our carbon footprint. From start to finish, our products are designed by nature, for you. As an ink supplier, Foliage is designed to inspire print makers to produce their work in a more sustainable approach by addressing the selection and use of ink and paper. Our company follows these principles: Inspiration, Education, Safety, Sense of Community & to Love the World.

Foliage provides a variety of hand-made, environmentally conscious inks and packaging. Consumers can purchase these based on the type of printmaking they want to do, or customize their own. Each kit contains a pamphlet that educates the artist on the proper use and disposal of the inks so they become aware of their environmental impact.

Mikayla Erbe is a 2020 graduate of The Ohio State University with a BSD in Visual Communications Design and a minor in Studio Art. As a designer, she has always had a passion for solving problems and experimenting with color and layout. Mikayla’s long-term goals include continuing to work with her interests of brand identity and package design. She aspires to enter into being a small business entrepreneur and starting her own boutique design and stationery shop.
