FOODUP is the food service hub; the place provides grab-and-go foods, fresh local market products, and nutrition and cooking courses to promote healthier food consumption in Franklinton, Ohio. Although this area is still known as ‘food desert’ or ‘one of the neighborhoods with fewest supermarkets in Columbus area(The food trust)”, by accommodating fresh and accessible food service to East Franklinton, it would eventually attract diverse artists and visitors around the area, as well as neighbors to Franklinton. The space creates attractive, welcoming and festival atmosphere to revitalize food service in Franklinton. FOODUP offers Franklinton a food service hub, as well as it creates community space for artists and residents. Nutrition and cooking classes for residents would broaden knowledge of well-being food consumption. Artists’ space will create a window of opportunity to share ideas, advertise works, and use for future references.
