The Go-Locker

Industrial Design, 2016

The idea behind The Go-Locker came after looking behind the scenes of large-scale football equipment management and transportation. A tedious process that requires an immense amount of planning and organization each week as the team transports 16,000lbs of equipment to away games.

Current methods of equipment transport include utilizing varied crates, bags, and rely on manual labor. The Go-Locker aims to minimize the physical and mental stress that comes with this current process. A two-in-one cart product, The Go-Locker securely transports the players’ uniforms and bags. After arrival, the cart can be split into its separate parts for efficient navigation and direct locker setup.

The function of the Go-Locker is to aid in several stages of the equipment transport process as a whole. Not only aiding in efficiency and innovation, but also creating a more enjoyable environment for the people involved.
