Half-Cup is half meal-kit and half social app. The goal of the project was to encourage young adults to develop healthy eating habits and balanced lifestyles. Users only receive half the recipe so they’re encouraged to pair up with others to cook. Users can choose to meet up with a friend or they can make a new one.

The app suggests four recipes daily and three out of four are environmentally-conscious. After finding your half-cup, you’re ready to pick-up your order from your preferred grocery store, and the platform will guide you and your half-cup through the cooking process. Lastly, you can take photos and share your half-cup experiences with the half-cup community.

Eunice Park is from Perrysburg, OH and she specializes in video production and digital content strategy. Her true passion lies in food and she hopes to combine her love for food with her talents in digital media. She will be returning to Overdrive Interactive after graduation for a full-time position in Boston, MA.
