Honda Grocer Companion

Industrial Design, 2023
The Honda Grocery digital vehicle app was developed as a partnership project with HONDA, investigating how to increase competitiveness with their next-gen vehicles by observing future grocery shopping trends and redesigning the cars' assistive aspects to improve this experience during grocery store pick-up.
Technology is the leading force in redesigning our systems and products. This brings into question how the future of grocery stores and vehicles will cohesively blend into our everyday lives and activities.
This app is a digitalized feature implemented in the vehicles hub center to promote the importance of future vehicle development, while also improving the pain points of grocery shopping online. The app encourages engagement between the user and the fulfillment workers to improve communication and build mutual trust in the online shopping process. The goal of the app is to allow the customer to easily shop without leaving their car during the typical grocery shopping experience.
