Hydro Park

Hydro Park

Interior Design, 2014

Coming from a small farming town, I have learned both the benefits of agriculture and the true meaning of community. The two coincide at times in the local businesses of Carrollton, Ohio. Those two qualities became the driving forces of Hydro Park.

Hydo Park is a space that collaborates community, innovation, education and most importantly agriculture. The large, warehouse-type setting offers a gathering place for the community to hold events or simply visit on a Saturday. Varying hydroponic and aquaponic structures fill the interior in order to educate farmer's and other locals on how our town's main attribute, agriculture, can be carried in to the future.

Hydro Park not only fills a gap in the present needs of Carrollton, but it also provides a pass in to the future using resources that already exist.
