Studying the Bible can be difficult at times. Being so far removed from the history and context of when these books were written, readers often expend time and effort to correctly interpret what the authors originally intended. Surely there can be a better way of learning all the truths in the most-read book in the world…
As a concept application, illumino seeks to fill in the gaps for users. By pulling together content from various online resources, illumino helps Bible studiers learn about what they’re reading without having to consult lengthy and expensive print-based resources. This information is pulled together through the Bible Reader: an interactive, augmented reality function that layers information directly onto the Bible’s text. The other features of illumino—Reading Plans, Devotionals, and the Community—all serve to encourage users in growing their Bible study chops.
