Even though women and men participate in outdoor recreation on almost equal levels (54% Male, 46% Female), 60% of women feel that men’s outdoor equipment is of higher quality than what is available to them.

La Rambla is a female-specific crag pack that works to reduce the iniquities in quality gear available to female climbers. Currently, there is a significant gap in the market for female-specific crag packs. A crag pack is a climbing-specific backpack that is used to take climbing gear into an area where rock climbing occurs. These bags are made of fabric that has a higher abrasion resistance than a standard hiking backpack so they can hold up to the rough environment.

A female fitted pack is important as it interfaces with the user’s body better and allows the pack to transfer weigh properly, making the hike in as efficient as possible.
