International students pack up a lot of luggage when they depart from home countries. Big-sized suitcases are requisite. Once the students arrive and settle down in their new living places, the big-sized suitcases are no longer needed although they are perfect for transporting a big amount of items, it is almost its only function. In addition, they take up a lot spaces especially for students living in a small apartment. The price of a big-sized suitcase can cost from $150 up to $550. Typically, international students use them once or twice a year when they travel back to their home countries.

The use efficiency of suitcases needs to be improved. International students will set up their new home more easily and no longer need to buy as many furniture. When they need to move, there can be less items for them to carry with.

Chenyan Li is a designer who has passion in bringing joy to people’s everyday life through design. With the influence from both eastern and western culture, he is able to look into Western lifestyle and design trends, and at the same time he has a deep understanding on Chinese as well as East Asian aesthetic and user habits.
