Visual Communication Design, 2021
Made it was designed to deliver the satisfaction of home-cooked meals in a way that is easy and approachable for everybody, all while ensuring sustainable practice. The app includes a collaborative grocery list, ingredient information, and guided cooking directions. It also helps the user's meal plan. The meal planning feature is enhanced with artificial intelligence and takes out the hassle of meal planning. The user puts in their meals, time restrictions, food cravings and the app does the rest. It will reuse ingredients to decrease food costs and eliminate food waste. Creating a unique meal plan each week. Made it allows the user’s to sync devices or add members of their household so tasks like grocery shopping and meal prep can be split up. Our mission is simple – to make the kitchen easy, efficient, and approachable.
Christine Stankiewicz was inspired by her friends and family expressing their frustrations of cooking and desire to find small ways to weave sustainable habits into daily life. Through her internships and education, she has a strong interest in user experience, design research and branding. She believes that great design is a product of research, collaboration, drive and curiosity. In the future, she looks forward to traveling to new places, experiencing new opportunities and growing as an individual.
