Student athletes face a lack of time and a lack of proper resources to assist them in their collegiate career and beyond. With the emergence of NIL (name, image, and likeness) contracts, students now have the ability to capitalize on status as a student athlete, but many students don't know the best way to approach or manage NIL deals and the benefits that come with them. Many third party NIL platforms have a students' short term success in mind, with little attention towards the future goals of a student. The area for a regulated and trusted NIL source has opened for a business such as Huntington Bank to step-in to this new space.

Huntington Horizons is a new financial service and app that will provide athletes access to secure NIL transactions and exclusive contracts. Huntington Horizons also provides a platform for athletes to connect with financial advisors, giving athletes the keys to a better understanding of the benefits of investing and how small transactions can create long-term dividends. Horizons creates a network between athletes, trusted individuals and financial professionals that allows for productive conversation benefitting the student athlete. Creating financial pathways will not only create endless opportunities for athletes in their collegiate career, but it will set them up for long term financial wellbeing both on and off the field.
