The Market

In Franklinton, low population density makes it hard to support a large grocery store. The lack of grocery stores means residents can only get food from local convenience stores, gas stations, or fast food stops.
Limited public transportation in the area means residents can’t go to the grocery as often as they would like. And while fresh produce tends to go bad within a wee, this limits people’s ability to maintain healthy eating habits.
The older generation with a lack of nutritional knowledge leads to future generations with non-nutritious food habits.
The market will be multi-function space in order to increase healthy food choices & experiences in Franklinton.
